Honda V4

A V4 engine is a type of four-cylinder engine, a V form engine with four cylinders and three main bearings. It was one of a group of Japanese motorcycles known at the time as "tariff-busters" because of Bike of the Month Each month's featured ride. Winners are member's bikes chosen from the GALLERY FORUM by Michael FROMMAINE.The V4 engine of the concept is clearly displayed in the design of the Honda V4 concept. In profile the engine is higlighted by the bodywork which frames it from above and in front. The hubless wheels are fitted with all-enveloping cowls which presumably help reduce drag while allowing for a small contact patch at the very bottom of the wheel.













In order to offer a comfortable life with motorcycles for a larger number of potential customers, Honda intends to put increased focus on the pairing of rider and machine. The V4 concept is just the first step in that new direction.
