Ingredients
1 kg of chicken wings
5 long tau pok ( cut into half)
2 long stripes of fried tau kee
Seasonings:
2 tbsp of feng he soya sauce
3 tbsp of feng he dark soya sauce
1 tbsp of sesame oil
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of mirin
For frying
Some minced garlic
1 slice of ginger
1 tsp of rice wine
Method
Wash clean the chicken
Add in the seasoning n set aside for 1 to 2 hrs
Heat up the wok
Add little oil
Put in garlic n ginger
Fry till fragrant
Then add in the chicken wings
Fry till half cooked
Pour in rice wine and seasoning that u used for marinating the chicken just now.
If u want more sauce , add in about 1 cup of boiled water
If u like darker colour , add more dark soya sauce
Place in tau pok , tau kee , deshell quail eggs
Boil for about 25 to 30 mins
Serve warm with celery n rice
